Who we serve

Built for the businesses legal technology usually overlooks.

Talking Tree works with entrepreneurs who are often priced out of traditional legal services: first-time and immigrant founders, mom-and-pop businesses navigating leases and contracts, and rural business owners without easy access to legal help.

We build the same kinds of contract analysis, document drafting, legal research, and workflow tools used by large companies—then make them practical for small businesses and new entrepreneurs.

Why we do it

Expertise should compound into access.

We built Talking Tree with help from Fortune 500 engineers and attorneys who wanted to apply their expertise to a different problem: making professional legal tools accessible to everyone, not just large corporations.

The platform brings together AI-assisted drafting and analysis, attorney-vetted templates, Microsoft Word integration, proprietary e-signature, document storage, voice mode, and OCR—the kinds of capabilities typically packaged for enterprise clients, now designed for first-time founders and small business owners.

We serve users in 30+ languages and operate as a nonprofit because we believe high-quality legal technology can be both financially sustainable and fundamentally mission-driven.

Empowerment

We give small business owners the same legal tools that Fortune 500 companies use, helping them make informed decisions with confidence.

Accessibility

Voice-enabled AI, multilingual support, and nonprofit pricing help remove the barriers that keep entrepreneurs from accessing legal support.

Transparency

Clear pricing, attorney-vetted resources, and straightforward guidance. No hidden fees, no unnecessary upsells, no surprises.

Innovation

We use modern AI and legal technology to make enterprise-grade capabilities practical and affordable for everyday businesses.

Our impact

Change the economics, and more people can participate.

Since launching in April 2024, Talking Tree has served more than 14,000 users around the world.

People use Talking Tree to navigate contracts, understand intellectual property issues, create foundational business documents, and approach legal decisions with more context and confidence.

We have helped entrepreneurs avoid costly mistakes, negotiate stronger deals, and build more durable businesses. Each one represents someone who might otherwise have delayed legal work, gone without support, or accepted terms they did not fully understand.

We are not simply lowering the price of legal software. We are proving that world-class legal technology does not have to be designed around enterprise budgets.
